It will mean we can import high res images as emblems and kits in an u modded option file:)

That it does, can take most images from the PS3 version & import them into the Xbox one, not sure about the PC as I dont have any option files for it.

Next thing i want to try is taking the Xbox Edit.bin & try importing it into the PC Edit.bin to see if I can edit it :D

Once I have all the Offsets i will put up my files for you.

Great break through..

Hold off from doing all 600 kits

League emblems and team logos are priority if we had to choose one thing.

Kits not so much because i guess I could get the emblems on the shirts from the new emblem as stated above.

Also.. because a kits is from the PS3 verson.. it doesnt mean it designed better than the one i may have created already..

it will be in higher resolution but the kit still would need to look right in general.. (dependant on OF maker as it varies from each one.)

What would be brilliant is to find out the exact size/ format the PS3 saves its png into.. then i could create the same in photoshop directly.


Do you know if it would be possible to extract my kits from my OF and then allow me to edit it via my pc... then import it back into the file again.

I know your working hard but these are the 1st questions that come to mind..

I cant work out the format of the Kits, they were PNG before they were imported but what they are now I have no clue.

You could create them on the PC using the PC version, then extract the data & import it into the Xbox save, hopefully there will be tools soon to do it as I posted this information over at the Evo-Web forums.

if you do the above way you have full control on how good they are.

strip dimensions are, 142x253

PC files are encrypted so just testing. OK they would work if I new how to properly flip the byte, as Xbox & PS3 files are Big-Endian & PC files are Little-Endian.

Ok im a bit slow on the programming side of things so you will have to excuse my basicness in places.

for example..I did a C ++ module at uni 10 years ago and I struggled to make a clock.. id create times that would display 08:63 oclock EXACTLLY!!! lol


Ok so whilst you have the knowledge i hope my theories can help you in anyway possible.


Someone came close with this back in PES2009 & PES2010 but the project got abandoned.

If you can import images from the PS3 version.. thats a perfect start..

If I can get imported (high res) png images into the Xbox like shirt sponsors and logos, i can then do the rest of the kit myself directly on the Xbox in the edit mode. (when i say high res.. i mean better than the xbox results)


Im sure there are kit creation packs in the PS3 version with Nike, addidas, Samsung and Fly Emirates png etc for example.

This would be so good to use and would save you extracting 300 or so files.. this way it could be 30 or so and thats more than enough for me to turn into beautiful kits..


I spent last night playng with the links you sent but today ill import the league logos you made and credit your discoveries on the next update ofcourse. (y)

I wonder if someone has copied all the team emblems to dload for the PS3 version?

I may spend a couple of hours tonight, converting a 2012/13 save to Xbox as right now we would need a PS3 to do the importation.

389 files or so, shouldn't take that long :)

I get where your coming from, but as of right now I can't convert the PC file to big-endian as there a mix of 16 & 32 bytes that need flipped.

Also we can't go from Xbox to PS3 as the file need to be rehashed & as far as I know that's not possible on the PS3 saves.

Ok thats perfect..

Ill use whatever you bring.. I can cut it up if need be and prepare..

Its possible some kits may not need changing or repositioning..

Heres my chelsea kit which I did last week >>>

Id only use the samsung logo or the addidas or perhaps the chelsea emblem just to up the quality :)


In time.. what I may do is ask one of my PS3 editer friends to store the premier league club emblems as a shirt logo from numbers 500 upwards.. for example..

Then i can use them if you get what i mean :)

I'm in the process of converting paul2478 PES2012 Option File v2.0 to Xbox, so when I'm finished doing all 384 files :( lol you will need to go through & do all the strips again :( but at least they will be higher quality.

you have 600 slots so I'm using the first 384 Slots, that way the other 216 Slots are free to do what you wish with.

Hats off to Rocky. I've been looking forward to this being possible for a long time. Great work, mate. Top notch!

FWIW, I tried looking into the Xbox 360 EDIT.bin before. I even went down the road of hexediting it. In the end, if I changed just one character in a player's name using the hex editor, the Xbox wasn't able to load EDIT.bin. I guess there's some sort of CRC check which I couldn't get around.

Yeah the updated kits look very good so far. I can only imagine how good they'll look once a full set of images can be imported :) Awesomeeeeeeeeeee!

hi,

I've tried installing the file using both the buffalo party and the xtaf model which you recommend in the install guides and neither are working?

with the buffalo party install everything goes okay until itry and copy the files over on my 360 and then i get an error message just as the download starts

and with the xtaf conversion the program just stops working when i try and insert the folder with the data on and i get a "Not Responding" message

could you guys shed some light on what could be going wrong
