Hey guys,

as you all know... PES2013 is near however I usually start working on the Option file many months before release to make sure the Option file is released on the games launch day.

Heres is a place for requests and ideas or anything that can help in creating the ultimate file for all of us to use.


I have many ideas which will elevate this file to higher grounds but more info on this will follow later.

As usuall.. all the unnoficial teams that konami bring us in the game will get an official badge/ logo and will have correct season 2012/13 kits

Im not sure yet on how many edit slots we have to play with however, I will create 2 leagues as standard which is the Npower and Bundesliga

I want to create other 2nd leagues to enable our friends in europe to play the ultimate ML with their favourite team whether it be French, German, spanish, Deutch or Italian.

I would like to create 5 versions which I would make all the kits and emblems however I would need someone to look after the league/ own it.. this would involve sorting out transfers and updating the starting linups every few months to coincide with the Jan transfer window or konami data pack updates etc.

Then i can import the 20 teams back into my master file and release v2 and v3 etc

Now my dilemma is this.

for me to create the 2nd French league for example.. I can obtain the starting linups from PES stats Database or even FIFA on my PS VIta..

I must add that FIFA isnt as upto date as everyone likes to make out and I was dissapointed to see how lazy EA are with linups yet they still get lots of credit..

Anyway....

I could easily create the 2nd French league but come september it will be slightly outdated if I dont have time to update it all.

Now would people prefer one of the less popular 2nd div leagues be released slightly outdated in places or would they prefer not having the league at all?

Personally If I was into the french league I would wont something which is always better than nothing..

Id rather have something than play a ML with a french team mixed with npower teams..

what do you guys think..?

dont panic..

I plan to be as accurate as possible but due to time constrainghts, I may create a league per month starting now but obviously teams will change in the summer transfer window.

I hear roumers about south american leagues.. perhaps we could do 2nd leagues for those countries too but we will have to see.


A dream woud be the option to have alllof the above in one file (whilst not slowing down loading times too)

The 2nd leagues is a great idea. But what about some other top leagues - like Scotland, Russian, Turkish and Brazillian? That would be GREAT!!

And then, you could fill the "other leagues A" section with the missing top teams - like the top teams of Croatia, Serbia, Norway, etc.

I would prefer the top leagues ahead of the "B" leagues to be honest.

What do you think?

I agree, it would be awesome to see some more top leagues. Maybe even the MLS and south American leagues would be ace. It would be good to have a few young hot prospect players being created too with stats to reflect their ability and potential.

- how many of the current leagues within PES have you played in?

The MLS would be great. I swear we had a guy on here banging on about a MLS 360 file for aaaaages. I'm sure he'd vote for the MLS for PES 2013.




I play in every league, but if there's one league I don't play in often, it would probably be the Liga Zon Sagres.

Keep the comments coming.

I got into making option files because nobody was making one for the Xbox so I made Arsenal

Then I started a league and thought to myself.. I can't play against these default teams so I created the top 4

Then I extended to the whole league.

I posted pics and it turned out my one was the only one of a half decent standard so I released it for all to use and years later here we still are.

I created the npower league because I didnt like random teams from other countries in the 2nd division.

I never used to play ML for this reason and just stuck to doing leagues with cups included.


So I made the npower league so I could have a good ML experience.


Now I know supporters if teams in other countries may feel like me and wish for 2nd division teams.

Now with limited space and time I have to choose wisely.

I'm creating the Bundesliga because I have templates to continue working with and the same goes for npower.

I need to know if someone from France would appreciate a slightly outdated 2nd division or nothing at all.

Same for every country.

I ask this because it means I could create even more leagues for people to use



To be honest I don't know why I ask because If anyone wanted a league to be perfect, that's where they have the opportunity to help the community and fix it;)

I would love to see MLS in an option file. nPower League1 and 2 would be much welcomed as well.

Question though: Is it not possible for Konami to develop a Creation Centre-type environment that would do away with the need for option files altogether? One thing I love about FIFA is being able to hop on the web app and cherry pick them teams I really want, be it Blue Square Conference or NASL.

With such a heavy emphasis on customization in PES, I think this is something Konami should eventually consider. Admittedly I have no clue when it comes to the costs incurred (server maintenance, etc).

P.S.: Daymos, thanks a ton for your effort on PES 2012. You made a great game that much better.

A creation centre would be great but the xbox360 version would suffer because of the length you have to go to make kits:

The response on Twitter was superb.

Most people said they would like to see the SPL and MLS - those were the two leagues that were mentioned most.

That's a good idea actually. When the editing mode news for PES 2013 is released, I'll sort something and get the word out.
