How To Import An Option File To Your 360 [Tutorial]

Post by Mike » 7 years ago

Before you do this, make sure you format your USB stick to Xbox 360 via your console. Also ensure that you have copied, NOT MOVED, your PES files to your USB stick. You do this for two reasons; so that you have a back up if something goes wrong. And also so that the Xplorer program can detect your 360 formatted memory stick.

This process should take about 10 minutes. Make sure you do exactly what the guide says.

Step 1: Download Slashr's USB Xplorer (alternative link) and WinRAR too if you haven't already got it.

Step 2: Extract it from the .ZIP file, and onto your Desktop.

Step 3: Download your desired option file, and extract those files to your Desktop too.

Step 4: Open Slashr's USB Xplorer. File >> Open Device. You then should get a pop-up stating "0. {dir}content", which you should then double-click.

Step 5: Then find the folder that is similar to this, "ir}E00007FB5AB1185FF", and double-click that.

Step 6: You should then double-click on this folder, "{dir}4b4e0801".

Step 7: Then double-click once on this folder, "{dir}00000001". Ensure that you have backed up your files, then Delete the EDIT file, and all UNIFORM files.

Step 8: Open your downloaded option file folder, and select all files, and drag-and-drop them into the white space on the Xplorer program - This will save you doing it one by one.

Step 9: You should now have a long list of PES files. Your PES option file should now be ready to transfer to your 360.

Step 10: Remove your USB stick from your PC, and put it into your 360 console. Head to the Dashboard, and onto Memory. Then press Y to transfer content, with the destination place being your hard drive. Copy ALL PES files from your USB stick to your console. This should take about 10 seconds.

Step 11: Now load up PES, and head to Exhibition Mode, and check whether your emblems/kits have updated. If not, then you have not performed the tutorial correctly - If this has happened, I suggest you restart from scratch.

A pretty simple guide, but hope you found it useful. If you have any questions, then do not hesitate to ask and I will get back to you as soon as possible. And again, if any problems arise then please contact me and I will help you. But lastly, do exactly what the guide says and it should work.

If you encounter any problems, leave a comment here and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

If for example we just want to copy the strips of the players, do we still need to delete the EDIT.BIN file?

The codes that we should see when were on the xplorer, should they match what you've quoted as mine are completley different?

I seem to remember last year, did you need to create a PES save data on the USB stick prior to doing all of this?

Hello

There is a mayor problem: the slasher USB Explorer is no where to be found. Can you please do the tutorial with a different software?

Thank you!!!

Hi onlyproevo thanks for the prompt reply,
I did the right click and
open as administrator. The computer asks me if the program can make change to the computer, I click yes. when I repeat the steps, still no folder opens.

I don't know why that's happening. When you open an .exe file, it should already know how to open itself. (hmm)

Are you sure you have extracted it from it's .rar folder, using winRAR?

Please forgive me if this is a question that is asked all the time, but I am new to all this and have just discovered the joys of the OF.

Firstly, wow you guys do a great job and thanks for doing it and providing it free for all of us.

I have managed to use your tutorial and it worked first time, however I did notice that out of the 660 odd files in the OF I am only able to install 200 or so of the files? I am using a 8GB USB pen and cant believe that the save data and the OF can be filling 8GB.

Am I doing something wrong is is this just the way it is? I am mainly interested in the English PL to be honest so if it is a size issue I don't mind missing out the other kits if this is possible? I am also wondering if the sponsors should be on the shirts as well because at present they are not.

Again thanks for the work and if the sponsors thing is just because you haven't been able to get them all done then I completely understand as you have already done loads.
