Ive also decided to upgrade from a 360 to a PS4 just for this game so they best not disappoint

I'd assume that's the case for most deals of this type.MotherHen wrote: What would they gain from a premium partnership with English (or even German) teams? Would it allow them exclusive rights to whatever stadiums?
If I remember correctly, PES 2009 was the official game of the England national team.MotherHen wrote: Also, can you do the same kinda deals with national teams?
It's hard to say whether "everything" will come because new teams and stadiums are often added post-launch.danmarsh wrote: Mike will we no all licence news next or closer to release
I'm making the same jump (let me know if you see any good offers) mainly based on the OF sharing.MotherHen wrote: Ive also decided to upgrade from a 360 to a PS4 just for this game so they best not disappoint
2009 was the official Liverpool game that year and I don't think much came from that either.Mike wrote: If I remember correctly, PES 2009 was the official game of the England national team.
Keep your eyes peeled on at The Emirates on Sunday for any PES 2017 ad boards etc. Remember Barca had PES 2017 stuff on display before the official announcement.Mike wrote: A premium partnership with an English club would be interesting to see - and it'd certainly explain why a certain North London side were mysteriously left out of the PES Day 2 demo, despite being included in PES Day 1, plus the fact they've featured heavily in official media since PES 2017 was announced.
If I were to guess, I'd say licensing agreements have got much more aggressive since then, with both parties now going for much more when securing their deals, especially exclusive ones.itstroff wrote: 2009 was the official Liverpool game that year and I don't think much came from that either.

Trying not to get carried away but think of them Arsenal Legends though ...Mike wrote: Good shout. Will also check the programme!
Personally though, I'm not going to expect to see anything. But, even with such a cynical mindset ( ), you'd think there must a logical reason as to why Arsenal were left out of PES Day 2: partnership hasn't been signed yet, in-game Emirates hasn't been completed yet, etc.
Which players would make your top five?
I'd say my top 5 Arsenal legends are:Mike wrote:
