Haha... Just finished watching and it was terrible. Probably only good to watch with someone if you're both drunk.
The first one was alright in my books, but the 2nd one hasn't "lived up" to it at all.

It's been ages since I've watched a newly released film... Recommend any?

Hangover.
Anyone seen Battle: LA... Looks immense, but been panned by critics? They say its ok becuase of the action etc... But the film itself is a bit pap.

I always say "I HAVE to see that" but with like most films I want to see, I don't get round to see them in the cinema. I mean, I still haven't seen the latest Harry Potter film!
Saying that, Battle LA is amazing - judging by my Facebook news feed a few days back.

Kick Ass... Despite being predictable, and a bit "samey" in terms of story (and with the ending) i quite liked it.
Made me feel warm.

Just watched 2 Leo DiCapuccino films, Shutter Island and Inception.
Both really good, thinker films. Prefer inception for the blockbuster aspect (i'm sold on graphics) but Shutter Island was good story-wise.
I think Shutter Island could have done more with the scare-fator... But I suppose Scorcese isn't just about scaring for the sake of it. 8/10.
Inception -a strong 8/10. Could potentially give it a 9 after a re-watch to take in the finer details.

I'm going to watch Inception tonight I think. I had planned to watch it last week, but never got round to it.
As for Shutter Island, it's a fantastic film. The ending was a little disappointing though..

Watched FastFurious5, liked it a lot! + those who have not watched it, dont leave after the credits it doesn't end there.
Saw Thor as well

-> was getting mixed reviews from people, imo it was a good film. And again stay after the credits

Didn't the ladyboys dancing round while you sat there put you off the movie?
I watched "The Other Guys" a few days ago. Ridiculously stupid but I really enjoyed it, worth a watch if you are a fan of Will Ferrell
