kennymunro wrote:Daymos, any idea what happens to base copied players after the file transfer? for example, if you base copy the relegated players in the 2011 game will they import to the 2012 game with their preset faces and stats?
I will try to find out for you later today.

No problem.

I'll just base copy a load of players, stick them in one team and then convert that data into PES 2012 and see what happens.

The only way to test is to base copy whioever it may be and then do the import prequel data option (9hours) then you will see.

If your making your own file then you will probably have to try it when you get the game because I doubt anyone will know now or will be prepared to spend 9 hours to test it:(

I know Ronaldhino lost his face and a few others but Im sure konami have a decent amount of player faces this year..

If a players playing in another country thats not in the game (and not an international) then he wont be in the game unfortunatly.

However it is a very good question youve asked..

9 hours? i didn't realise it would take so long! i don't mind waiting and trying it myself. I was thinking with players like Barry Ferguson who aren't in this years game if i based copied them even if their preset faces didn't carry over it would be good to have their stats and abilies imported though.9 hours? i didn't realise it would take so long! i don't mind waiting and trying it myself. I've gone out anyway and have left my 360 running. It took about 5 minutes to do 15 files so it may take a while.

If it's still slacking when I get home, I'll just use another 'clean' profile and do it using that. ;)

I could just go into Memory and delete everything though, and start again, right?

Although to be honest, at this stage, I don't really mind about kits. :)

For me it took around 4/5h but I didn't import players

Don't forget portuguese... (or those are the emblems besides premier and portuguese?)

Daymos wrote:Wolf, I saw the import and export option but I didnt dare go in it as I didnt want another 9 hour trip lol
Ill check it later pal.
Well, I just did the Export, and it lets you choose a team to export, where to export (HD, USB, Memory) and it took less than 1 minute to export the team.

I didn't test the import though, as I went into importing last year data, but I guess it will take about the same time.

What I'm not sure is what it exports/imports... Team name is a sure one, maybe emblem, formation, kits? players?
It would be great if he exports all of that's included in a team, and when importing if new stuff is on the data it would get into our option file... This way it would help on copy base previous players into a team, and then importing that team with all of them... that would be awesome and time saving...

I'll try to check it out later ;)

Hey I just checked in my lunch break and saw you could import/export teams..

Im not fussed about base copying as thats small fryb (no offence)

the bigger picture is that we could creat teams or even leagues and then people can import the team/leagues of their choice. :)

I could even create all 24 Npower Championship teams for example and give users to get rid of the 6 they dislike the most..

Same for 2nd leagues in other countries..

THIS FILE WILL BE EPIC AS ANYONE /EVERYONE CAN CONTRIBUTE :)

Yes, you're right...

Even for all the editing community, other editors could do some other teams, regardless of the base option file, and anyone could import the teams they like...
For example anyone could do english 3rd division (dunno the correct name for the division below npower), or 2nd. bundesliga, or portuguese liga orangina teams, and anyone could import those teams to have his own league...

Like we see on some foruns requests for kits, people could do requests for whole teams... ;)
