We could have the main file and then a list of alternitive teams..

If someone wants to work with me to add the spanish, italian french or whoever.. I can help with the emblems and release ready made versions to save confusion to the non hard core..

I will toy with the options next week but tonight my priority is to get the file finished asap.. :)




ps Wolf, the Portugise emblems are piority before npower and bundesliga :)

I think i have enough emblems.. possibly 1 npower/bundesliga emblem may need to be erased to fit all the portuguise emblems.

Great news... I went into other forum and someone posted the info about this feature...

I'll copy the findings of some people about it...

Post 1:
Ive been experimenting with the import/export feature, and it will be quite useful.
I moved Fernando Gago from Real Madrid to Sporting Braga, then exported this team.
Copied the file to another account in my ps3, played pes2012 for the 1st time in said account, went to edit mode and imported Braga.
You have to pick a serie of options like transferring everything or only, emblems or kits or squad, etc.
Everything transferred: emblem, kit pngs, squad (including Gago), formations, etc.
Since Gago was still at Madrid in this account, I went to Madrid to see if he was still there, but the game moved him to Braga when I copied the team.
Then I deleted the Braga files from both accounts, and the editings stayed the same.
This will make the option file transferring process much easier.
After all, Jon Murphy was right...


Post 2:
Hey there, i've also tested this feature, because my plan was to use my own OF, but to avoid the work of creating kits for EPL, Liga zon Zagres etc.

It's right that you can export the teams and that you can re-import them to another account. There (the other account) you can choose only to import Emblem and kits.

So everyone can create the EPL very easy, if someone (who has already corrected kits and emblems) would export all 18 missing EPL teams and put them online to download. So everyone can have this teams very fast without loosing their own created OF.

Very useful feature in my eyes. Will speed up the creation of Nextgen-Patches very much.

My english isn't perfect, but I hope it is clear what I mean

P.S.: I've tested the import feature with a created player in the team

1. created a player on "created players page 3, last slot"
2. registered him to a fantasyteam in the PES League
3. exported the team
4. cpoied the team to another account
5. imported the team there over the same team
6. created player is in the team too, but the editor put him on the first free slot in the "created players pages", so he isn#t longer on page 3

Perfect feature for me. So I can pick the things from the various EU OFs I want , whitout having to import the whole thing.


Post 3:
Ok, here is what happend:

- Export of team with custom kit and Emblem (==> Result is one file)
- Import on other account
- Everything is there (Teamname, Emblem, Kits, Players, Stats)

The exported emblem was put automatically on the first free of the 51 emblem slots and the kit-pngs are as usually in the gamedata folder.

So you could describe the Export-file as a sort of packed Archive (like rar or zip files) and after unpacking them at the new account the files are there as they were before on the other account

So we still have to deal with the 51 slots

One info about preset players from PES2011 to PES2012...

"What is already known is that the preset faces won't come along with player from PES2011 to 2012. I don't know about the players with stats."

Just loaded up PES 2012 on a new, clean XBL account. I base copied Manuel Almunia 4 times and then transferred that data onto PES 2012.

Everything worked fine, but his appearance wasn't correct.

Yes, I already posted that info ;)

Someone from other forum already tested it and found that conclusion :(
I think it's only good to keep the stats of the players, nothing much...

All that import info was great to read, althoug he was for PS3 its exactly the same principles for the Xbox360..

The only thing Id like to know is what if all 51 emblems are used up?? will it ask us what emblems to erase over or will it just erase the 1st one on the list (Aka Arsenal)?

I doubt it will be the latter but just checking..


an easy fix will be to make empty emblem slot spaces before hand so if your importing 6 teams.. just make sure you have 6 empty emblem slots.. :)

Ok guys lets plan our attack..

V1 will more than likely have the npower and bundesliga intact :)

V2 can have appearances, starting linups and kit tweaks I may have missed.. also possibly a face tweak by the best face creaters around (fabresass).

Mike can work on the OPE team in his own time and you can work the same time as me as opposed to sharing one file working 1 at a time..

Now with the help of the community we could have many v3 possibilities.

give us a shout if you have an OF idea you'd like me to add my quality touch too (cough cough).

thanks for trying! i'm happy even if it's just getting the player names and stats imported. Means i'll only need need to tweak the appearances of my base copied players. Good news.

I'll keep that thread bookmarked to see if anyone tested that, but my guess is if we import a team and no slot available to import the emblem, the team will be all imported except the emblem... At least that what happened on old PS2 versions ;)

An update to what happens if no slot free for emblem:

"Ok, I've tested it:
If all 51 slots are in use and you want to import another team with a custom emblem then the editor informs you that there are no slots left and that the new bitmap can only be applied if the user choses to overwrite an existing one. Next screen you can chose which existing emblem to "Overwrite"

That's it..."
